Phoenix Cosmetics fans know all about the beautiful range of highest quality cosmetics from professional make-up artist, Phoenix Renata's eponymously-titled store. We have long been a big fan of the Kingsland boutique with its charming Pink Ladies and excellent make-up and brow services.

A second store opened in Tauranga over a year ago and now this month, a third Phoenix store is open on Hurstmere Rd in Takapuna. Located on Auckland’s North Shore, the new Phoenix salon is a one-stop shop for all your makeup requirements, offering an extensive range of makeup services and the Phoenix cosmetics line.

Staffed by experienced makeup artists known as the Pink Ladies, customers can get their makeup done for that special occasion, get a lesson, or enjoy a ladies night with friends or workmates. Two Phoenix specialities, brow shaping and eyelash extensions, are also key offerings.

Mirroring its sister stores in Kingsland and Tauranga, the salon is feminine and romantic with soft pink furnishings, satin ribbon wallpaper, gold mirrors and an ornate chandelier. Fashion magazines and fresh flowers are finishing touches.

Founder/owner Phoenix Renata said the Kingsland store had built such a strong client base that there was a need for a second Auckland store. “Our Kingsland customers were having to wait several weeks for makeovers and other services. A lot of our clients also come from the North Shore and surrounding areas, so the new store means they won’t have to travel as far.”

Fans in other parts of New Zealand and overseas will also be kept happy with the launch of Phoenix’s new online store www.phoenixcosmetic.com. Part of a makeover to the existing website, purchases can now be made via a secure SSL payment system with shipping anywhere in New Zealand for only $4.

Customers can choose from the full makeup range with products for face, eyes, cheeks and lips, plus tools, accessories and vouchers. Signature products include custom-blend foundation; a New Zealand-first blended on the spot to match a customer’s exact skin tone, new mineral foundation, shimmer powder in a refillable metallic diamante compact, and pink pony-hair makeup brushes.

New for winter, the new ‘Love Delusion’ colour story features eyeshadow palettes, lip glosses and lacquers in coppers, pinks, purples and teal green.
