This year’s show was on a full-scale runway, I was so excited.

The theme for this year was fairy-tales, there were giant books from which the children appeared, and little bunnies that jumped around, it was truly magical.

When the first child came onto the runway it was obvious that Trelise had gone for her look of frilly and froufrou with a twist. Like last year, each little girl had a beautiful hair band, this year’s had colourful pompom-like flowers attached to it.

Some standout pieces were the beautiful tutu-ish skirts made out of tulle and in vibrant contrasting colours. There were also amazing jackets including ones made out of velvet, leather, wool, and my favourite, a nautical style jacket with gold trimmings, worn over a floral dress.

This year’s show was simply spectacular and I will definitely be going into the shop to buy my own headband.
