Each week throughout October, in support of Breast Cancer Action Month, New Zealanders have the chance to bid on celebrity art creations molded from Bostik Blu-Tack Pink. The pink art sculptures are being auctioned on Trade Me with all money raised going to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation, the country’s foremost breast cancer education and awareness organisation.
This week you can bid on art sculptures by Lana Coc-Kroft, Miriama Smith and Gilda Kilpatrick on trademe here http://www.trademe.co.nz/MyTradeMe/Sell/Current.aspx?source=sidebar
This Bostik Blu-Tack Pink art model of a swan pictured above, up to $50 when this story went live, was molded by reality TV star Aja Rock who says "The swan, a feminine symbol, stands for courage and strength. I think that many women and families dealing with breast cancer are very courageous and strong! The swan symbolises grace and beauty on many levels. It represents the presence of divine inspiration in the world along with compassion and freedom."
Be sure to check back every week during October and bid on your favourite as new art Bostik Blu-Tack Pink models go online. Participating celebrities include Denise L’Estrange-Corbet, Lana Coc-Kroft, April Iremia Josephine Grierson, Janet Wilson, Gilda Kirkpatrick, Julie Christie, Kate Hawkesby, Katrina Hobbs and Miriama Smith. Auction winners get an acrylic signed photo along with the Pink-Tack sculpture.
With every sale of limited edition Bostik Blu-Tack Pink, the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation will receive 20c towards an overall total donation of $10,000 by Bostik and Croxley Stationery, on behalf of New Zealanders who purchase the product.
