Artist in Residence in Rotorua

Imagine being an artist and given 8 weeks free accomodation and payment to just be creative in your given field in Rotorua next April? Well, for one artist, this will become a reality, with Arts Residencies Rotorua.

Applications are now open for an eight week residency open to New Zealand resident artists across all genres. The residency supplies accommodation and a weekly stipend and will begin around mid April 2010.

Who can apply?  Applications are open to creatives working in ANY genre, whether it is painting, film, music, performance, writing, dancing, composing, printmaking, or photography....
