A graceful winter
State of Grace's Winter 2010 collection is full of dresses above the knee and focuses on the waist with belted-in, nipped in shaped jackets and a gorgeous floral print which lends a 1940s flair to its modern shapes.
Designer Sherilyn Catchpole always has such a great eye for fabric and cut and has a loyal fanbase of working women who need something to go from work to afterwards.
Her clientele now includes daughters as well as their mothers; any age can wear her designs and look good as it's oxymoronically up-to-the-minute and also timeless.
Here are some of our favourite pieces from their lookbook...
Left: Quirks on Floral Dress
Below: Quirks on Floral top, Ringmaster top, Perfect Storm Skirt. Below right: Tulip Top, Ringmaster Top, and Quirks on Floral Skirt.

One-shouldered looks, in the Irresistable Dress, and the Decisive Moment dress.

Accent is on the neckline in the Angel Delight top, Skinny rib Turtleneck top and Diamond Shine skirt, and in the keyhole neck detail of the Diamond Shine dress.

Layered looks with the Diamond Shine waistcoat and Out of the Wild halter worn over Jaded Memories shirt and Phantom trouser. Below right, the Shiver & Shake dress worn over the Skinny rib Turtleneck scoopneck.

This mini is super cute: the Trickilicious mini worn with the Garden Estate halter and Diamond Shine bolero. Again, the cute mini in grey teamed with our favourite jacket, the Silver Spy Jacket.
