Sera Lilly opens boutique In Ponsonby

One of New Zealand’s rising stars of fashion, Sera Lilly, has opened new and expansive premises in Ponsonby, Auckland.

Only four short years after starting her burgeoning label and settling in to the ex-Adrian Hailwood boutique on Ponsonby Rd, Sera has acquired the old Workshop outlet store at the top of Williamson Ave, allowing her the space to stretch her sartorial legs.

The boutique is a split-level space, with the mainline retail on the ground floor and a bridal boutique on the mezzanine floor. Sera’s blossoming bridal business is one of the main reasons she has been able to expand into a bigger shop, and it has also made the brand more robust.

A highlight of the NZFW 2009 calendar, Sera gained a lot of attention for her use of Henry Holland tights as part of her runway collection, and keen-eyed fashion lovers will be pleased to hear that the stockings can be bought at the new Sera Lilly boutique.

The boutique is also now stocking Kagi jewellery by New Zealand designer Kat Gee, and Ecoya candles.

Sera is becoming a well-known face in the fashion industry and has bolstered her brand with an alignment with Number 1 Shoes.

The new Sera Lilly boutique opened for business on Saturday 6th February and a grand opening event will be held on Wednesday 17th February.
