Your happy place

Your happy place

Karlea Snowden-Harris, pictured left, shared the latest from NIVEA today at an afternoon tea at Mollies boutique hotel in Auckland.

NIVEA have released something a little different for the skincare giant; a body lotion with a feel-good formulation, called Touch of Happiness body lotion designed to "make your whole body smile."

Priced at $6.69 it'll make your accountant pretty happy, too.

We like its delicately citrus scent of orange blossom, a big step away from that classic blue tin of night creme we all grew up with our mums and grandmothers using.

Also new from NIVEA is a volumising lip balm with SPF filters, called NIVEA Lip Natural Volume ($5.88). Karlea likes it because of four benefits: it plumps lips, gives shine, adds colour, and has SPF30 to protect lips.

The slogan for 2010 will be "The Best Gets Better" as NIVEA has advanced the original formula of its phenomenally-selling Q10Plus ($19.45) by optimising the UV filters so there's a better balance of UVA and UVB filters in the anti-wrinkle cream.

They have also increased the Creatine levels in DNAge Cell-Renewal Anti-Age ($23.69), using more of this natural micro-peptide which increases collagen production and counteracts collagen breakdown from ageing and UV.

So it'll be a big smile on your dial - with less laughter lines of course thanks to their anti wrinkle cream- and a big "whole body smile" from NIVEA.
