Warriors on parade
Champagne, lingerie and footie stars.
No, it's not a scandal from the pages of News of the World or your average Monday night in a Parnell bar.
It is in fact the Bendon new collections catwalk show at the Newmarket flagship store on Wednesday 11 August.
With half-price bras for VIP guests, goody bags of Elle pants, Mini magazines and make-up, and Moet champagne and San Pellegrino drinks proffered by the best looking barmen they could source, the event took place instore around a red carpet strewn with rose petals.
Guests watched models parade the latest collections from Elle Macpherson Intimates, Bendon, Obsidian by Elle Macpherson Intimates, DimitySo for larger cup sizes, and the launch of Pleasure State, a very glamorous high-end lingerie label that oozes sex appeal.
The invites even promised us a surprise show...which was the Auckland Warriors taking to the runway in undies!
